We are an independent, apolitical and self-governing association of Polish judges.
Our main mission is to defend freedom and civil rights, which are the democratic foundations of Poland - a member of the the European Union.
We have been operating for more than 25 years, also as part of different international organisations of judges. We associate over 3,500 judges, most of them in Poland.

Statement by the judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court explaining the reason for leaving the assembly convened by Małgorzata Manowska to elect the president of the Civil Chamber.

The Assembly of Judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court aimed at election of candidates for President of the Supreme Court managing the works of the Civil Chamber has been properly summoned for 29 June 2021 and on this date the Assembly adopted a resolution to adjourn the election Assembly until the end of proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union in cases C-791/19, C-487/19 i C-508/19, where only one of those cases (C-791/19) was finalized with the judgement of 15 July 2021.

The Resolution of the Assembly of Judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of 29 July 2021 has not been repealed, it is in force and the reasons for which it was adopted still exist.
