On Tuesday, following a decision by the Supreme Court's Professional Responsibility Chamber, Judge Igor Tuleya appeared to work in court. For now, it is unclear when he will be allowed to perform his duties. - Politicians who destroy the rule of law and try to hijack it should remember the truth of the wall. A few metres away, on the court building, there is an inscription saying "the more power clenches its fist, the less it holds in it". - Tuleya said. The President of the Regional Court in Warsaw has informed Judge Igor Tuleya that he is being reinstated on his previous terms and conditions

- He was told by human resources department that he would be able to start ruling "in the near future". He himself expects this to happen in December

-Remember that we still have a neo-NCJ, we still have laws that prevent judges from issuing lawful decisions.... This fight is not over, it is ongoing," said the judge

Among those gathered outside the courthouse was Judge Piotr Gąciarek, who showed those gathered the judicial chain entrusted to him by Tuleya when he was suspended from office. He kept it in a safe place until today, when it was returned to its owner.

Igor Tuleya himself also came out to the supporters. - I would like to thank everyone for their support. I would like to remind you that the citizens have been defending free courts for 7 years now and have stood by the judges all the time - he said.

He added that not only the appearance of citizens in front of the courts was important, but also every good word thrown in the street. - This destruction of the rule of law is individual, but it is actually systemic. Because it's not about getting back to work, it's about getting the rule of law back," Tuleya said.

- Let's remember that we still have the neo-NCJ, we still have laws that prevent judges from issuing lawful decisions.... This fight is not over, it continues. But all those politicians who are destroying the rule of law and trying to hijack it should remember the truth of the wall. A few metres away, on the courthouse, there is an inscription saying "the more power clenches its fist, the less it holds in it". - he concluded, after which he entered the court building.

The President of the Warsaw Regional Court informed Judge Igor Tuleya that he was being reinstated on his previous terms and conditions. He was told by human resources department  that he would be able to start ruling "in the near future". He himself expects this to happen only in December, when all the formalities have been completed.

The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the now-defunct Disciplinary Chamber, which in April 2021 did not accede to the prosecution's request and did not agree to the Warsaw judge's detention. The National Prosecutor's Office appealed against this decision.

The Supreme Court also decided to overturn the decision of the Disciplinary Chamber in the cases of Judge Tuleya's suspension and the reduction of his remuneration. In addition to this, the SN indicated that there is a possibility of reopening the immunity proceedings of this judge

- We recognise and conclude that Judge Igor Tuleya did not commit any crime when, on 18 December 2017, he decided to hold the hearing in public and to allow the media to attend," justified Judge Małgorzata Wąsek-Wiaderek, announcing the decision in the case of Judge Igor Tuleya
