"Practical aspects of the preliminary ruling reference in proceedings before national courts and judicial international cooperation."
The training will be held on 2 dates, in the formula from Thursday from 16.00 - arrival of participants, until Saturday until 14.00:

The training programme will be the same for each date and provides for the following issues:
- The preliminary ruling procedure from the perspective of national courts and the practicalities of referring questions for a preliminary ruling by national courts.
Instructor: Rafał Cebula - judge at the District Court in Siemianowice Śląskie, member of the Civil Law Team at the IUSTITIA Polish Judges' Association and of the Project Coordination Team for the project 'The case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union - influence on the application and interpretation of national law', implemented by the European Commission Representation in Poland.
- Judicial Cooperation in Civil Matters in Practice.
Leader: Marta Knotz - judge of the District Court in Koszalin, coordinator for international cooperation and human rights in civil cases, member of the Civil Law Team of the IUSTITIA Polish Judges Association and of the Team of Coordinators of the Project "Case-law of the Court of Justice of the European Union - influence on the application and interpretation of national law", implemented by the European Commission Representation in Poland
- Practical aspects of actions with an international element in criminal proceedings
Presiding: Jolanta Jeżewska - judge of the District Court in Gdynia, a criminalist with many years of practice, adjudicating executive criminal cases, member of the Criminal Law Team of the Association of Polish Judges "IUSTITIA" and Joanna Hetnarowicz-Sikora - judge of the District Court in Słupsk, a criminalist adjudicating executive criminal cases, in 2017 - 2020 coordinator of international cooperation in criminal cases at the District Court in Słupsk
During the training, the organisers provide participants with 2 nights' accommodation in double rooms of a high standard with breakfast, food on Friday, including a ceremonial integration dinner (NOTE - the organisers do not provide dinner on the day of arrival - Thursday).
The cost of participation is a mere PLN 200 booking fee (this fee is non-refundable!).
