We are an independent, apolitical and self-governing association of Polish judges.
Our main mission is to defend freedom and civil rights, which are the democratic foundations of Poland - a member of the the European Union.
We have been operating for more than 25 years, also as part of different international organisations of judges. We associate over 3,500 judges, most of them in Poland.

Applications for candidates for the Honorary Badge of Iustitia.

In 2023, the Polish Judges` Association "Iustitia" is once again organising a competition, the aim of which is to promote the achievements of the Iustitia`s members in the implementation of the statutory objectives of the Association, in particular such as strengthening the independence of the courts and the independence of judges, the development of democracy, the protection of freedoms, rights and civil liberties, the development of legal and civic awareness of society. As part of the competition, Awards of Honour of Iustitia are granted. Candidates for the Award can be Iustitia`s members who stand out in terms of their achievements in implementing the statutory objectives of the association, in particular such as strengthening the independence of the courts and the independence of the judiciary, development of democracy, protection of freedoms, rights and civic freedoms, development of legal and civic awareness of the society, building a positive image of judges, as well as distinguished by their ethical attitude.
